What are the uses of QR code barcode scanner?

Quick Response (QR) code is a matrix barcode. This matrix barcode is a two-dimensional code that can be read by QR barcode readers and even camera mobile phones. Unlike a normal barcode that has series of lines; a QR code is made up of black modules arranged in a square pattern on a white background. The function, however, remains the same: to store information.

They can be added to printed promotional ads containing a coupon, social media identification, YouTube video links, and contact and product details. Originally, this code was used only to track parts in vehicle production. These days it is used for other things such as storing contact information, URLs or texts. The encoded information can be interpreted by a camera phone that is equipped with a dedicated software or application. When a phone camera scans and interprets a QR code that contains a URL of a web page, the page will automatically open in your phone's browser.

In this technology age, QR code barcodescanners are commonly used in advertising, publications, online promotions, and even on event tickets. As these are 2D barcodes so you will need a QR code scanner. Using this scanner you can read any QR Code whether it is printed on a label or read off of the screen of a smartphone, tablet, or PC. We have two types of QR code handheld scanner; that is Corded and cordless style, which can include connectivity to iOS/Android devices.
